What Hugh Jackman Can Teach You About Reaching Your Goals
First off, even if you do not like the Marvel movies, this was just an overall amazing movie and you should definitely see it.
Second, just about everyone, even myself is blown away at how
Hugh Jackman looked playing one of my favorite superheroes, Wolverine from the X-Men.
He looks absolutely jacked, shredded, and incredible for someone who is 55 years old.
Now, Hugh Jackman is an A list celebrity, and he does have more resources available to him than the average person.
He has a life that allows him to dedicate a ton of time and effort towards his his physique for his movies.
However, Hugh Jackman is still a person.
Believe it or not, I find this part of the story to actually be relatable.
But, you may disagree.
Allow me to explain.
After watching the movie I felt inspired.
Inspired by what really pushes someone to accomplish a goal for themselves.
After watching a few interviews of how Hugh Jackman ate and trained for this role, he talked about some of difficulties he had.
Once I heard these struggles I caught myself thinking.
Wow, even someone who has it all, is still human, and still has to battle the ups, downs and sacrifices of trying accomplish something that is meaningful to them.
Though it may seem hard to believe, I am willing to bet that there were days Hugh did not feel super motivated to stick to his diet and nutrition plan.
Days where he did not want to eat another plate of tilapia and green beans.
I am sure there were days that he may have not felt like showing up to the gym to workout in the early hours before production meetings and or filming.
But, he had a goal to accomplish and a plan to follow.
Throughout it all, he ended up sticking it out, and doing what he had to do in order to reach that incredible superhero look.
Is this easier said than done?
Absolutely.
Especially for someone of that fame, status, and success.
Let's be real, you and I, are not Hugh Jackman.
But, we are all human and we all have days where we feel more or less motivated and disciplined than others.
At the end of the day, it wasn't any special diet plan or super secret workout that led to his physique.
It was the consistency, dedication, motivation, and discipline that made Hugh Jackman transform himself into the Wolverine again.
Do you know what the best part about all of this is?
You can find your own version of consistency, dedication, motivation, and discipline that will help you achieve your goals.
You may not have the goal to look like Wolverine, or even your favorite superhero actor or actress.
You are however, the superhero of you own story and your own journey.
You may be looking to just lose a little bit of weight.
You may by looking to add some definition to your muscles.
You may be looking to build a strength training routine.
You may be looking to transform you entire fitness and health.
If you have the right mindset, the right plan, and belief in yourself, you can do a little bit each day to help make your goals a reality!
