When trying to lose weight we all wish it could be a smooth sailing process.
If you read any article on the subject, they will likely tell you that if you have a caloric deficit of about 200-500 calories, you will be able to lose potentially a pound per week.
Unfortunately our bodies don't make it that easy.
I am sure most of you reading this have experienced the following.
After a rock solid week of eating healthy and nutritious food, no cheat meals, and not missing your daily step count or workouts, you may expect to see a lower number on the scale compared to the week prior.
But, when you step on the scale, the number staring back at you is higher than you wanted.
It may only be a few pounds, but with all your hard work and dedication from the past 7 days, you were hoping for something a little more reassuring.
It can be frustrating and be a major buzzkill to your weight loss endeavor.
Well, I may be the first to tell you this, but those extra pounds may not have been your fault.
Our body weight can fluctuate on a day to day basis, and often times this is not a result of anything you did wrong. But it is based on how our bodies own physiology handles the food we eat.
Watch the video below where I provide 3 potential causes of your daily weight fluctuation.
Weight loss is an up and down battle.
